Whole lotta shakin' goin' on / Great balls of fire - Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry nacio el 29 de septiembre de 1935 en el estado estadounidense de Loussiana. Des de pequeño tuvo un talento especial con la musica, tanto que aunque fuera de familia pobre sus padres hipotecaron la casa para comprarle un piano. Empezo tocando musica religiosa en la iglesia, pero en 1954 grabo su primer disco, dejando atras la epoca de musica eclesiastica. En 1957 con la cancion "Whole lotta shakin' goin' on" salto a la fama, y mas tarde se consolidaria con el "Great balls of fire". Fue apodado "The Killer" por su manera de tocar el piano, por su voz y por su caracter general.
Su fama acabaria ahi por causas de alcohol, drogas y diversos escandalos familiares. Aun asi es de los cantantes que sigue estando en memoria de todos y entre los mas grandes del rock and roll.
